Pasta Fagioli

vegetable cooking spray
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 cups onion -- chopped
4 cloves garlic -- minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup ditalini -- uncooked
3/4 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
31 1/2 ounces low sodium chicken broth
15 ounces canned cannelini beans -- rinsed and drained
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes -- undrained
1/2 cup nonfat parmesan cheese -- grated, divided
Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; add oil, and place over
medium-high heat
until hot.
Add onion and garlic; sauté 8 minutes or until tender. Add wine and next

ingredients; cover, reduce heat, and cook 10 minutes or until pasta is
done.
Remove from heat; stir in 1/4 cup cheese.
Ladle soup into bowls; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Serve with Italian bread.
