1 lb (93/7) ground beef 1/4 cup chopped green pepper 1/3 cup chopped onion 1/3 cup chopped celery 2 (14 1\2 oz) cans stewed tomatos 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce 2/3 (6 oz) can tomato paste - freeze the rest of the paste for something else salt and pepper to taste 4 cups cooked rice (minute) In large nonstick skillet or dutch oven, cook meat, green pepper, onion and celery until meat is browned. Add stewed tomatos (undrained), sauce and paste, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Add cooked rice, mix well, simmer 10-15 minutes more. |
